The Tin Can Bay Community Op-Shop has been operating as a ministry of the church for approximately 15years. Over that time it has provided high quality but low cost secondhand clothing, furniture, household goods and the like to the residents of the towns on the Cooloola Coast.
It has also provided another stream of income for the church which has allowed funds to be donated to overseas aide, international and national disaster relief, community needs, local school chaplaincy and a whole lot more.
Over the years the op-shop has been staffed with hard working, dedicated volunteers who sort, clean, arrange, serve customers and willingly do whatever is required to keep the shop functioning.
It’s both a privilege and challenge to oversee this great ministry, so that it will continue to serve our community in the years ahead.
Come down some time and grab a bargain. The shop opens 8am till 12 pm Tuesday to Friday (except public holidays). Cnr Emperor St and Buchanan avenue.
